hemoscope® is software dedicated to blood flow analysis using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) designed and developed for the medical site. CFD refers to computational science which mathematically analyzes the flow of fluid using a computer. By entering the medical image, intravascular blood flow of individual patients are simulated three-dimensionally. However, in order to perform "blood flow analysis," complex processes traditionally were required, such as the need to introduce multiple costly software and setting each software according to the respective conditions for calculations, etc. However, hemoscope® presents the world's first environment in being able to complete all analyses at the medical site, from displaying test images, extraction of blood vessels, analysis model making to analysis/measurement display, all in 2 to 3 minutes at a minimum. This enables not only application at the research level but also in clinical practice. In addition, it is anticipated that by standardizing the analysis method, more data can be accumulated, improving simulation accuracy.
